Heifer & Henotic

Hello <3

This week I will be discussing a charity organization called Heifer International. They work with other countries (hence international) and those who are in need, as Heifer is dedicated to building and rehabilitating communities and their foods systems.
Their mission is to  end poverty by empowering others, especially women to feed and save children's lives. As there's a measured process for improvement, since there is a collection of data and analyze the results for them to take a step for the future they wish for. Since they seek partnerships in order to evaluate a plan for the situation to be beneficiary.

A specific mission that Heifer International did was the distribution of food and sanitary kits in Haiti after Hurricane Matthew. They were able to provide emergency assistance to more than 6,500 project families. There was significant damage done was extreme flooding which has lead to the loss of livestock and agriculture. Unfortunately, they learned over the weekend that two project participant families lost a loved one in the storm. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have suffered a loss of a loved one, with our colleagues, and with all in Haiti who are working to assist these communities.
A way to fix this tragedy Heifer has delivered supplies to repair the water system, which works to provide water tanks for six additional communities in progress.

One of the locations Heifer claims to assist is Nepal (which is the setting of the novel Sold by Patricia McCormick), as it's widely known of how Nepal does have a high poverty level of 65% of the population and Heifer plans to go as far as to ending their poverty.
Is this possible?
How can they save this penury stricken country?
Heifer reaches out to the Nepali government officials that were in charge of Asian/South Pacific programs, since they have lead communities to self-sufficiency in a few years then, Pierre Ferrari the CEO of Heifer International took Heifer's vision onto a greater scale.

I believe that I can support Heifer's idea of ending poverty, or just making change for those who aren't fortunate to do so themselves is because of how there are many of those who are physically unable to make a difference or change what is happening to most. A proposal for an idea that can aid others is to have a penny drive for a family who has lost their home, or to fund a local animal shelter. This will demonstrate the drive that most have to help others that are in need, as this will relate to what Heifer is doing in Haiti and since this is similar to what they handle then this will appeal to Heifer International.
I believe that aiding an animal shelter will stand out more because it would be common sense to help animals that are mistreated or homeless. This may start a small fundraiser that will grow into something more and will branch out to other situations that can help, this will also be inexpensive and favorable. As it will give most a chance to participate and gather partnerships in order to grow bigger and eventually help families who need houses, as well as animals who need homes. Since it would be a penny drive then it could be called Common cents, as any sort of change or even dollar bills will be guidance into something larger.

All love, Aya
